ReplyDeleteVery handy TNEB Bill Calculator for Residential houses, thank you for this Professor. I have back checked bills where different amounts of units were consumed from below 200, to below 500 and 500 above and your TNEB Bill Calculator is accurate to the Rupee! Would you consider posting a calculator for commercial - shops and establishments, please? We run Raw Indian Hair Vendor shop and it would help many of us who run establishments to keep a check on our bills! Thanks and regards!!

At the same time I am disappointed with the revised rates, Even if I consume less than 500 units I am bound to pay my Bill at a higher rate. I am a differently abled person , work very hard to earn a single paisa. I pay my bills at the same rates as like other people, Is this justice to people like us.
This govt promised that they will take meter reading every month. What happened to their political manifesto. I do not belong to any Katchi,just a common man. I think another freedom struggle should happen to save us from these corrupted politicians supported by money mongering corporates.
Just venting my feelings here, Nothing against anyone who have commented here.
Sad to hear... I hope even rich people will not be happy with the new tariff. We are living in a society where we have to either adapt or struggle.
DeleteThanks for not deleting this comment. I think only in this country rich people are bound to adapt , only poor people struggles and then fights. Other countries it is exactly opposite, rich people fights for good cause. Anyhow it is my presumption.
DeleteAt the sametime no one can adapt continuously for everything, one day everyone will oppose/revolt.
Just one suggestion to this bill calculator. Could you make the amount to display as soon we put the units in the units consumed box and then press "Enter" key on the Keyboard. Currently we have to click the "Calculate " button to make the amount to display. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteYesterday I got the bill. For 750 units consumed Rs. 4016 only charged. With Rs. 12.50 towards fixed cost, I am required to pay Rs. 4029 only. But according to your calculator, it is Rs. 4200. How?

ReplyDeleteSome issues need to be fixed for better usage :
1. If we enter zero (0) as units, the result shows Rs.-225 (negative value).
2. If we enter less than zero (negative values) as units, the calculation is done in reverse order with negative values.
Can you check and fix them sir?
